DevaCurl Review & My 4 Must-Have Products
Hello friends! On CyberMonday I placed an order at DevaCurl because they had such a great deal going for full sized products. So I chose some products I’ve been wanting to try for a while, along with their classic “No-Poo” shampoo! I’ve loved that product since I first heard about the brand about 5 years ago! I listed below the four products I purchased and I’ve already been able to try each product at least four times since purchasing. And as usual, DevaCurl doesn’t let me down! These four products have become new favorites for me and definitely must-haves for anyone who wants to give this brand a go. If you’ve never bought DevaCurl products these are the four items I’d highly recommend for you if you have crazy, curly hair!
This stuff really is a freaking wonder! I’m never going back to my old detangling ways. I plan on using this for my children one day, that’s how much I love it. Wash Day Wonder literally makes detangling so easy! The comb and my fingers glide through my hair with no ripping or harsh tugging. This stuff is seriously magical!! No more breakage from detangling because this provides the best slip I’ve ever gotten from a product or conditioner before!
I was a little confused on how this was different than the “no-poo” shampoo but after just one use I now I know! and WOW! This isn’t a shampoo but it’s definitely cleansing though! Think of this stuff as a refresh for your curls when they feel a bit stiff or bogged down by product build up or sweat. It’s literally a micellar water for your hair! I work out 5 days a week so this product is amazing for refreshing my curls and my scalp when I’m in between real wash days. It doesn’t frizz up my hair or strip it dry like a shampoo would. I just apply this right to the scalp and massage it in. It just gives my hair new life when I need it! I like to use this once a week.
This was my first time using this, I’ve used the super cream before but never this! The Supercream can be a little heavy if your hair is prone to build up or very fine. This styling cream is fantastic! I have noticed a difference in the way my hair dries compared to using other products. It’s super defined and shiny! I love anything that really defines my curls and doesn’t leave them feeling dry and frizzy. This is super creaming and works into wet hair really nicely. I have to use about 8 pumps for my hair because it’s very thick and so long right now! I would love it if this product came with an even larger size!
The iconic No-Poo! This is as great as people say it is. If you have curly hair that is thick and thirsty for moisture, this stuff is for you! It is sulfate, paraben, and silicone free. This doesn’t strip your hair of it’s natural oils so when you get out of the shower your hair won’t have that frizzy ring around the top of your head when it dries. I have a sensitive scalp and this doesn’t irritate my skin or over dry. I can’t say enough positive things about this cleansing cream, it is so good for my curls! I’ve used it on and off for many years and I’m always impressed. And the added bonus is that is smells SOO good!
DevaCurl’s conditioner is also fantastic but I go through conditioner very, very quickly. Like VERY QUICK. So I opt to buy cheaper ones at the drug store or some big pump bottles because I use conditioner every time I get my hair wet in the shower, just to reset my curls and revive them. You can find my favorite drug store conditioners here. For me, it’s worth investing in cleansers, treatments and products. But conditioners I only really splurge on if i’m SUPER sprung for one or I’m treating myself to a little luxury! Otherwise, there are so many great drugstore conditioners I’d rather use!
I hope you give these products shot and if you do, please let me know what you think and even give me a before and after shot! I’d love to see them. xo, Chloe
