Spring Break Vacay Must-Haves

vacation guide

Spring break is only a month away! I’m SO excited! Where are you headed for spring break?! I am not sure what i’m doing for spring break yet because I have lots of travel plans for post graduation! Might just stay home, relax and visit my boyfriend in Boston. But I am a well vacationed gal! So over the last two years, I’ve been lucky enough to go to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic with my boyfriend and spend lots of time in Miami and Boca Raton, Florida with my family and friends! If there is one thing I know how to do really well, its to pack for vacation! I am all about being well prepared and planning outfits ahead of time. I like to pack as efficiently as possible for beauty and hair care products. I’ve found some real gems for multi-use that make your packing easy and your luggage a little lighter. I hope you enjoy reading my guide and find some great items for your next vacay!

All of these pieces are selected because these are brands I trust and have purchased swimwear from for years! Both the tops are great for girls with a fuller chest because they provide support and coverage! The bottoms are also great because they are adjustable so you can show as much as or as litte skin as you want!

Day Time Looks

Keep it light and easy with clothes for the day time! I like breezy clothes that are easy to move in, whether you are layering it over a bikini or getting dressed up cute to go grab lunch in town!

Evening Looks

These dresses can be dressed up effortlessly with cute shoes, fun jewelry and a statement bag. Very summery but also sexy and fun! You can’t go wrong with a cute dress that shows some leg on vacation!!

On vacation you should be your most comfortable! That’s why I recommend a wedge if you want to wear a heel because they are so comfy and easy to walk in. Sandals are also a go-to, of course! Sam Edelman sandals are very well known and great quality. Steve Madden also makes some great simply sandals that are easy to match to many different outfits.

Travel Skincare & Sunscreen

I’m a big Supergoop fan! Their products are so great and don’t irritate my skin like so many other sunscreens do. I recommend bringing one serum you love for night time that is restorative and healing, especially if you are going to be in the sun all day. Lastly, I recommend bringing a calming face wash like this fabulous one from the Body Shop. Your skin will certainly thank you for taking such good care of it!

Travel Beauty Products

This is ALL you need on a vacation! Maybe throw in a travel sized perfume and even a mascara. I noticed a lot of people have been getting eye lash extensions before going on vacation, which is totally genius! Fresh lashes even after you go swimming! Love that idea. I like to pack just a blending brush for eyeshadow and apply what I can with my fingers. For applying foundation/tinted moisturizer, you can either apply it with clean fingers or a dense kabuki, which you can blend your cream bronzer with as well! The third brush I always pack is my favorite powder brush because I like a blended finish and I know my makeup won’t slide off during the hot and humid nights out! A little swipe of face powder is my favorite to finish off any makeup look with.

Beach/Pool Bags

Nothing I love more than a fun statement bag, especially one that can carry a lot of stuff to and from the pool or beach! When you’re on vacay you need to bring out your most fun bags because when you’re out of town, it is now your time to play around a little with your fashion choices. I’d even use the smaller satchel type bag for evenings out on the town. If you aren’t into carrying a bag when you go out, try a cute clutch that can hold a few cards, a lip gloss and your phone.

I hope you found some great picks for your next vacation! What are some of your vacation must-haves?! Let me know in the comments.

Until next time!

xo, Chloe
