My Ouidad Curly Haircut Experience
Hello my friends! Friday was a super fun day, as you may have seen from my Instagram stories. I hadn’t gotten my hair cut in about a year and a half, so my hair was suuuper long! When it is very long like it was, it’s a lot of work for me and pretty heavy. So it was time for a haircut! I drove down to Greg & Tony’s Ouidad Salon in Westport, CT for my curly cut. I know I can always count on Greg & Tony’s Salon because I’ve been going there since I was about 8 years old! Tony and many of the other lovely hairstylists (like Daianny, who cut my hair this time!) have done my hair over the years and i’ve never been disappointed. The Ouidad “curly cut” is specialized for curly girls like myself! Check out more information on the Ouidad curly haircut here.
You can check out Greg & Tony Ouidad Salon’s website and book an appointment online here!
This time, Daianny cut and styled my hair and I absolutely loved how defined and healthy my curls look now! I had her cut off about 3-4 inches. Let me tell you, IT WAS TIME! Now that I have shorter hair, it takes me way less time to detangle and style it. I didn’t realize how long and heavy my hair was before! I haven’t had my hair this length since high school.
And no, I didn’t get my hair dyed darker! It’s still a little damp in these photos which makes it look darker. Once my hair is fully dried my blonde, golden tones really come out. A beautiful haircut!
If you decide to book at Ouidad in Westport, ask for Daianny! She really hooked me up with with a fabulous haircut and recommended me a bunch of Ouidad products I haven’t tried before. I bought all the products she used on me to style my curls because I loved it so much! (pictured below)

After my haircut we treated ourselves to a delicious lunch at The Granola Bar right nearby! This photo of my shows how cute the restaurant is. It has an uplifting, healthy vibe and the menu totally matches. For lunch I got the avocado toast with feta, red pepper flakes, and an egg on top. I also got a green smoothie for some extra nutrients! My mom got their oatmeal bowl with dark chocolate on top. It really was as good as it looks! I recommend checking The Granola Bar out on their Instagram and stopping by if you are in the Westport area.
After we ate, it was time to shop! Westport has such great shopping in just one main area with sidewalks and yummy places to eat or grab a coffee. It’s such a nice change of pace from where I’m at in Hartford County. You are also by the water so there are beautiful photo op’s and scenery of the water.
I’m so obsessed with each piece I am wearing here. Each piece is so versatile so you can really wear it with so many different things in my closet already. If you haven’t noticed, I’m super into Madewell jeans right now! You can shop my look below.
I hope you enjoyed this post! If you have any questions about my Ouidad curly haircut experience, don’t hesitate to reach out to me and ask!
